About
The "Resolutions That Get Results" course is a step-by-step guide to help participants achieve meaningful and sustainable personal or professional goals. It combines psychological principles with practical tools to build clarity, motivation, and resilience. Step 1: Year in Perspective Reflect on the past year to uncover lessons, celebrate achievements, and identify areas for growth. Guided prompts help participants clarify what they want to increase in their lives and what to let go of, creating a foundation for effective goal-setting. Step 2: Defining Your Vision Craft a personalized vision aligned with values and long-term aspirations. Participants use tools like the "Possible Selves Theory" and visualization exercises to connect their present actions to their future selves, ensuring meaningful and sustainable resolutions. Step 3: Setting SMART Goals Transform aspirations into actionable steps with SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound). Tools like the 10-Minute Rule and "If-Then" statements boost accountability and focus, while satisfaction assessments help prioritize and track progress. Step 4: Identifying Barriers Anticipate and address internal and external challenges. Participants use the Circle of Control to focus on what they can influence, applying strategies such as reframing limiting beliefs, managing emotions, and following the B.R.E.A.K. method to overcome obstacles. Step 5: Harnessing the Power of Habits Build lasting habits using the Habit Loop (Cue, Craving, Response, Reward). Techniques like habit stacking, temptation bundling, and the Two-Minute Rule simplify behaviour changes and promote consistency, ensuring sustainable progress over time.
